Fortunately, because of the proliferation of kitchen materials in recent years, adding colors to the kitchen has never been easier. Years ago, when you wanted to add color in the kitchen, your options are limited to painting or wallpapering walls. Appliances came mostly in white, beige, or (gasp) ghetto avocado. Now, we can find cabinets, fixtures, and appliances in a wild assortment of colors. And, these are three easiest ways to accent your kitchen within a few days.
Designing a home can be very stressful and designing only a kitchen can be even more demanding. When you really know what you are doing or at least have a plan your project will run much smoother. Designing a kitchen in an open floor plan is very incomparable to designing an ordinary kitchen in a room to itself. More and more homes are choosing for the open floor plan where the kitchen is a part of the open area. Many of the open floor plans are designed in a high tech or contemporary style. It is this style of kitchen that you will find black kitchen cabinets.
The Work Triangle or The Work Area: One of the most important aspects of any fitted kitchen and its also one of the areas of planning that must involve the input of the cook or chef. There are three main appliances that will determine this area and these are, the cooker, the fridge and the sink or waste area. You may well ask why, well these when you think about it are the three most used places in any kitchen. If any of these areas are too far away from each other it can make using the kitchen to its full potential difficult. So the work area or the work triangle should be given the attention it deserves before proceeding to the other areas of choosing your kitchen, and that is your first fitted kitchen tip.
If you want your kitchen to stand apart, then you need to have a proper kitchen lighting design. This in turn underlines the space of your kitchen and other appliances, making it look very professional. But sadly most of us think that any light is fine for the kitchen. We even end up using unnecessary overhead lights which are no addition to the kitchen‘s overall appearance.
