One of the many other pros to kitchen remodeling is one that you might not necessarily have thought of before. Limit spending on the kitchen remodeling to about 15 - 20 percent of your home‘s value. According to the National Association of Home Builders, updating and remodeling your kitchen will add more value than any other improvement. Even if you plan on moving at some point after the remodel, don‘t forget that kitchen projects add more value to your home than any other improvement.
Kitchen is one of the most important areas in your home. It is where most of the eating takes place, and we all need to eat to survive. By the transitive property, we all need kitchen to survive. Alright, that might be pushing it too much, but the point is that kitchen is one of the most important areas in your home because eating is such an important aspect of our life. Adding the right colors in the kitchen, then, pleases not only the eyes, but also our appetites.
While technology can pose an image of cold and uninviting, a modern kitchen embraces state-of-the-art innovation with classic design ideas - clean lines, clear countertops, bold colors, contrasting design elements, and simple shapes. A modern kitchen can be both a technologically advanced and warm and inviting space. Cabinetry of a modern luxury kitchen will distinctly lack extra features found in traditional style designs. Most modern cabinets are simple, square or rectangular shaped, without fancy door handles. Although ‘plain‘ the look of the cabinetry is sleek, clean, and highly functional. The look is all about working properly and showcasing your personal style. In fact, you may wish to completely leave cabinet doors off for the sheer convenience of access and sexy open look.
The most cost effective way to remodel a kitchen and give it a color is using melamine chipboard. You can buy Melamine chipboard in sheets of 2750mmx1830mm giving you about 5 square meters per board to work with. Melamine chipboard can only be edged with PVC or impact edging that is glued onto the chipboard. You can also use veneer chipboard which is 0.5mm veneer wood glued onto the surface of the chipboard to make the chipboard look like real wood. This board though isn‘t very cost effective in a kitchen and would normally be used as panels for a solid door kitchen.
